Girls Varsity Golf · Girl’s Golf Comes Out Swinging

The Pierce City Lady Eagles golf team started their season on Monday, August 24th. The Lady Eagles traveled to Cassville to play in a match hosted by Purdy. A total of 17 girls attended the meet from four different schools, Clever, Seneca, and Purdy were all in attendance along with the Lady Eagles.

The match was packed with really good golfers and was a good way to start the season. The Lady Eagles had two of their three golfer in the competition. Gerilynn Hagele and Samantha Myers both came out ready to play and had overall good days. The third member of the team, Grace Haase, was unable to attend the match due to prior engagements with the cheer squad. When asked about the way the season got started Coach Jeff Charles said: “It was a great day to be out on the course. The players all had a good time at the match and we look forward to the upcoming matches”
