The Eagles played a great game for only having one day of practice going over their 8-man scheme. The team recorded their third straight win on the season after their 62-12 win over Pleasenten.
Six Pierce City players found the end zone for their team. Wide Receiver Jackson Kleiboeker had two receiving touchdowns. One came from a trick pass from his brother, Fullback and Wide Receiver Donell Kleiboeker who also caught a pass from Quarterback Gage Brown. Brown and Running Back Mitchell Copening also had two rushing touchdowns on the night.
The Eagles also held their annual fundraiser in the Jersey Auction after the game on Tuesday. For being a weird night, there was a great number of people that attended the auction. Thank you to Jared Lankford for being the auctioneer for the Eagle’s football team.
Thanks to everyone who came out on an odd Tuesday night game and supported the Varsity football team with your presence and generous donations. The Eagle’s have this Friday night off and don’t play until next week. They play the Miller Cardinals for homecoming on Friday the 16th.
